When necessary, Pure Maintenance Restoration can conduct indoor air evaluations to identify whether mold levels inside the home have reached a concerning threshold.
Air sampling is the standard testing method in the mold industry. A controlled 75-liter sample is drawn from the indoor environment and captured on a specialized filter for laboratory review.
All samples are sent to an independent, accredited lab. The homeowner receives a detailed report outlining the findings, which helps determine the appropriate next steps for treatment.
The air sample process is relatively quick and simple. Our Mold Technicians take air samples by pumping the air in your home through a cassette filter over a five-minute period. In those 5 minutes, 75 liters of air is pushed through the cassette, capturing a clear snapshot of the air quality in your home. That sample is expedited to an independent laboratory where the sample is analyzed.

We will email you the lab results along with our recommendation based on the data. There will always be mold in the air, but it is the types of mold that thrive in properties that we look for, as well heightened spore count per cubic meter.
